Empower is grounded in the Gospel. Every aspect of this program is designed for our youth and staff to grow in their relationship with Christ and bring that love to their peers and community.

Youth in local communities volunteer to become Empower teen mentors.  They are thoroughly trained on a curriculum that was established to address issues of prominent concern in their community and for their age group.   These well-trained and supervised mentors facilitate classes to their peers.  The class participants can then go on to become trained as mentors themselves.  In addition to teaching Empower classes, the mentors assist in many aspects of community health related projects with the local doctor, and they have initiated numerous development projects to serve their community, help run the Empower teen center and participate and lead other Empower initiatives.
